About
This module is about General Physical Preparedness (GPP) done the right way - the Conjugate way. We’re not talking about random circuits or aimless cardio. We’re talking about GPP that drives recovery, increases work capacity, improves conditioning, builds muscle, and supports your main lifts without beating your joints into dust. You’ll learn how to implement strength-based circuits, sled protocols, carries, and low-skill conditioning work that improves performance across every other area of training. This isn’t fluff or filler - it’s where long-term lifters earn the ability to train hard, recover faster, and dominate in competition. We’ll also cover movement selection, circuit design, seasonal adjustments, and recovery strategies for powerlifters, strongman athletes, and general strength clients. Whether your lifter is under-conditioned, over-fatigued, or just needs more muscle in the right places, this is how you fix it. What You’ll Learn: How to use GPP to drive both recovery and strength How to build circuits that support - not compete with - main lifts Sled programming for hypertrophy, recovery, and athleticism Seasonal GPP strategies (off-season, in-season, peak) Event-specific strongman conditioning logic How to use GPP to extend training careers and reduce injury Why It Matters: Most lifters treat GPP as optional - or worse, punishment. But in a Conjugate system, GPP is foundational. It lets you train harder, recover faster, and build the kind of work capacity and conditioning required to actually handle heavy weekly maxes, event days, and hypertrophy work. Done properly, GPP also fixes weaknesses, builds lungs, and makes lifters more athletic. This module gives you the blueprint to programme it with clarity and intent.
