Clear your mind of can’t and STRIVE FOR PROGRESS

Strongman Coach and u105kg Competitor
Liam has been involved in strength training since 2019, beginning with powerlifting before moving fully into strongman in 2021. What started as a new challenge after lockdown quickly grew into a long-term competitive focus. Liam has progressed from beginner shows to competing at u105kg level and has won several local competitions along the way. He is currently preparing for England’s Naturals 2026.
As a coach, Liam works best with strongman and strongwoman athletes who are newer to the sport. This includes beginners who want clear guidance, novice lifters preparing for their first few shows, and intermediate athletes who need structured progression and technical support. His own journey through these stages allows him to understand exactly what newer athletes are experiencing and how to coach them through it.
Liam has been a qualified personal trainer since 2021 and has over two years of experience coaching a mixture of general population clients, strength trainees, and early stage strongman competitors. He is currently completing the JHEPC Specialist Strength Coach Certification to further develop his understanding of the Conjugate Method and advanced strength programming.
Liam’s coaching style is practical, patient, and detail oriented. He focuses on building solid technique, improving event confidence, and developing the strength base required for long term progress. His aim is to help athletes move well, perform better, and feel prepared for the demands of strongman without unnecessary complexity.
Previous Experience
Liam has nearly five years of competitive strongman experience and over two years of personal training experience. He began his strength journey in powerlifting before transitioning to strongman, which gives him a strong foundation in barbell mechanics and structured strength development. He has coached clients across general fitness, strength training, and early stage strongman preparation.
