JH ELITE PERFORMANCE & COACHING x

Clear your mind of can’t and STRIVE FOR PROGRESS
We wanted to change the game and do something different and we have.
Most certifications hand out a title and send you on your way. This is something else. Over the past few years, I’ve realised that the free content I’ve been sharing goes deeper than what most paid courses even try to cover. It became clear that it was time to formalise this into a full curriculum. Not just to package what I know, but to help serious athletes and coaches improve, help them stand out and raise the standard of programming and athlete development across strength sports. If you’ve been looking for something that actually teaches you how to coach, this is it.

Coming Soon: A Complete Education in Strength from the Ground Up

For over 15 years, I’ve been building this. Quietly, consistently, behind the scenes. Under the bar, in the books, and working hands-on with athletes from complete beginners to world champions. Now I’m bringing that system directly to you.

This is more than just a course. It’s a structured and in-depth educational experience for those who want to coach strength with clarity, precision, and purpose. Whether you’re an athlete, a coach, or simply someone who wants to understand strength on a deeper level, this will take you beyond what most certifications ever touch.

You’ll get lifetime access to 22 comprehensive modules, delivered through a combination of written textbooks, recorded webinars, and video-based teaching. You’ll learn at your own pace with material designed to be practical, challenging, and immediately applicable.

There are two tracks. You can take the course-only option if you want to study for your own development. Or you can pursue the full certification, which includes structured tests, exams, and a final assessment to ensure that you can apply what you’ve learned in real-world scenarios.

We’ll also be building an affiliated coaching network in the future. Those who complete the certification pathway to a high standard will have the opportunity to represent and apply this system as part of a growing team of coaches.

Now, maybe you’re thinking that if you wanted a Conjugate certification, you’d just go to Westside. I get that. But I think you might be missing the point. This isn’t about imitation. It’s about refinement, adaptation, and teaching a method that’s been shaped by real coaching, over many years, across different contexts.
If you’ve got doubts or questions, I’d be happy to talk them through with you.

This isn’t a generic course. It’s a long-overdue offering for those who want to take their understanding of strength further than most ever will.

FAQ: Who Are You to Certify Me?

“You’re not a part of with Westside. You’re not NSCA. So who are you to run a certification?”
Fair question - and here’s the honest answer:

I’m not here to rubber-stamp people or pretend I invented the barbell.

But also you know what is an ‘accredited course’ Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer and how many people do you see come through there and be able to coach anyone.

I’m here to teach you what I’ve learned over more than a decade of coaching lifters in the real world - using a Conjugate-based system that works across sports, body types, and lifters with actual challenges, not textbook-perfect lives.

This certification isn’t about giving you my name - it’s about giving you a system you can use immediately to make athletes stronger, faster, and more resilient.

But also we know I’m a difficult person and at the end of the day I endorse basically no one so on that basis - a certification from me is actually fucking gold.

Here’s what this course gives you that no traditional cert will:
-
Real-world programming systems.
-
Deep instruction in rotation, variation, recovery, and troubleshooting - not just “here’s the ME method” and move on
-
Frameworks for coaching strongmen, neurodivergent lifters, hypermobile athletes, field sport competitors, and powerlifters alike
-
Access to the tools I’ve used to build international champions, log PBs, and consistent progress in lifters who’ve tried everything else
There are plenty of certs that can teach you how to get someone a squat.
This one teaches you how to keep them squatting, injury-free, for years.

That’s why it matters - and why the coaches who come through this course won’t just learn Conjugate.
They’ll own it.
✅ How Is This Different From Other Certifications?

-
I’m not selling the history of Westside. I’m teaching you how to build the future of applied strength coaching.
-
There’s no governing body behind this - but there’s a full system of program design, rotation logic, lift breakdowns, and athlete development strategy.
-
You’re not paying for a logo. You’re learning from someone who’s coached hundreds of athletes, written extensively on strength development, and built a system that works.
If you want to spend £1,249 on nameplate, go right ahead.

If you want to become the kind of coach lifters stick with - the one who knows how to fix breakdowns, build progress, and manage every kind of athlete - then this is the course for you.

Modules we will cover
What You’ll Cover Across 21 Modules
Across 21 modules the JHEPC Specialist Strength Coach Certification builds from the foundations of Conjugate to advanced applications and coaching practice. The material is structured so that each layer adds depth, from basic principles through to long-term planning and specialist coaching contexts.

Foundations & Mindset
Learn about the origins of Conjugate from Culver City to Westside, and how the method has evolved. Explore systems thinking in strength training and the importance of understanding training effects and residuals so you can map what carries over and for how long.

Technical Mastery
Develop coaching frameworks for the powerlifts, strongman events, and Olympic lifts. Break down mechanics, identify weak points, and learn how to apply clear technical cues and analysis directly to training.

Programming Architecture
Work through Max Effort rotation and sequencing logic. Study how to apply Dynamic Effort in ways that work for raw lifters, strongman athletes, and field athletes. Examine the role of the Repetition Method and weak point work. Learn how to design peaking cycles that build to a true peak and how to plan annual and seasonal training for consistent progress.

Strongman & Sport
Understand how to program for events, medleys, and progressions. Study the full Conjugate for Strongman system and how to integrate event training with Max Effort, Dynamic Effort, and Repetition Effort work. Apply Conjugate principles to field and combat sports with an emphasis on velocity, power, and strength.

Specialist Coaching
Learn approaches to movement assessment and fix selection. Explore strategies for injury management and fatigue regulation inside a Conjugate framework. Develop methods for coaching neurodivergent athletes, hypermobile lifters, and other specialist populations.

Coach Development
Use coaching tools, tracking systems, and troubleshooting methods to improve your practice. Study the Coach’s Compass, a framework for self-review, leadership, and long-term development. Learn how to build a coaching practice that is adaptable and sustainable.
