About
This module teaches you how to apply Conjugate-based strength and conditioning to athletes outside of powerlifting and strongman. You’ll learn how to programme for sport-specific strength, speed, durability, and recovery - without abandoning the intelligent structure, rotation logic, and problem-solving mindset that defines the Conjugate Method. We break down how to adapt Max Effort and Dynamic Effort work for field and court athletes, how to structure GPP and SPP phases across a season, and how to assess what type of strength an athlete actually needs. You’ll also explore movement rotation strategies, sport-specific diagnostic tools, and how to use strength training to solve tactical and technical limitations. This module isn’t about turning every athlete into a powerlifter - it’s about building powerful, fast, and resilient athletes whose gym work actually transfers to the sport they play. What You’ll Learn: How to adapt Conjugate for athletes in team and individual sports Programming ME and DE lifts based on sport demands and outputs GPP/SPP strategies for in-season, off-season, and pre-season Movement diagnostics and needs analysis for athletic transfer How to build stronger, faster, and less injury-prone athletes The difference between training for sport and training like sport Why It Matters: Conjugate isn’t just for barbell sports. When applied properly, it builds more explosive footballers, faster rugby players, stronger grapplers, and more durable runners. This module gives you the tools to integrate the best of strength training with the real-world demands of sport - and helps you stand out as a coach who knows how to build athletes.
